From August 6–11, 2025, Cilegon hosted the Budaye Cilegon Fest & International Folk Arts (BC-FIFA) in partnership with CIOFF Indonesia. The festival featured cultural delegations from South Korea, India, Bulgaria, Russia, and Indonesia.

Highlights included an opening ceremony, cultural performances, school workshops, and a city-wide parade supported by the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Cilegon. The event concluded with a festive Closing Ceremony, showcasing the city’s strong commitment to cultural exchange and community engagement.
